Hola Amigos y Familia!

Tuvimos otro temblor.

Hello Everyone!

All right this week was really good. We had temple service and we got to work outside in the hot! It was good though. Well this was the last week for some great missionaries that I got to meet and serve with.
Elder Baich
Elder Rodriguez and
Elder Fisher!
Its crazy how time flies! I am almost at my 9 month mark and that’s pretty crazy for me! They are amazing people and I am way happy for all of them. This week I also got to really recognize the spirit and how it works. I can feel it all the time and it’s the best feeling ever. The Atonement is REAL and can really help people change and be better. I love the opportunity to be a missionary at this moment because I can bring this message to others! I love it!
This was also my last week here in Lafayette Square. I am leaving to be a Zone Leader in Huntington Park with Elder Low! I can’t wait. I leave tomorrow and I hear it’s amazing there! I will miss some people here though! I have made so many new friends that I will always remember. I still have like a lot of time left so I am sure I will see them again :) We also went to a Korean BBQ this week and it was soooooo good! Just saying!
Last thing so this morning around 6:30 we were up and all of the sudden our room just stars shaking like crazy and it was way cool! We had an earthquake that lasted like 3 sec. but still. I can say I know how it feels like. I love you all!

Elder Low and Huntington Park here I come :)

This week we confirmed Elias and it was sooo cool. He came to church with his brand new white shirt and pants he just bought! He also wanted to be a missionary so I let him borrow my tag for a little bit. Here's also a pic of us a Captain America! Lastly, a picture with my zone leader Elder Bird! He is super cool, that’s all!

This week was a loooooonnngggg week but ended amazingly.

There's this family in my ward that’s Peruvian and they invited me for dinner and we had the best food ever ha. I haven’t eaten that good in a long time. Just kidding, actually Mexican food is super good! But anyways I hade Ceviche with some Chicha Morada and ahhh it was so good.
Saturday was crazy! It was raining and we were on our bikes and all of the sudden it just started pouring like crazy! Hail was even coming down and I didn’t even have an umbrella, yeah I know, rookie. Well everything got wet and I showed up to our English class just soaking wet, along with the other missionaries.
Yesterday we baptized Elias Guillen, it was so cool and he felt amazing. He still calls it "Mi gran dia", he loves this church and I know he will be super faithful in it. I love this Gospel so much and I have been really focusing on prayers this week and how powerful they are! Never stop praying and also keep striving to be like the lord. I love being a missionary, even if I get crazy soaking wet sometimes.
I love you all!
Always be happy and see the positive in life! :)

Quote of the week "If you really concentrate on trying to walk the way he walked- loving, caring, serving, and obeying each step of the way- one day you’ll look up and discover that his path has led you to the throne of God".
