December 22nd 2014

It's Christmas already! Yesterday I got to go back to my old ward (Harbor 3rd) and see 2 baptisms! Fabiola and Tashkia! They are so cool. When we first found Fabiola, she was way shy and now she is so different, She's just so happy all the time! Before I got transferred from Habor 3rd ward about a month ago, I left her a voicemail because she didn't answer and we couldn't see her and I said to her to keep learning and reading, praying and go to church and to GET BAPTIZED because it will change her forever. When I saw here yesterday she told me she still has the voicemail and listens to it a lot and she would tell herself that she has to do it... and SHE DID IT! It makes me so happy.
Taskia is the little girl, They are from Mexico and they are so cool too! I love them so much. It's a part member family so we were happy be get her baptized too. She made me a little "Book of Mormon, Chocolate style". That's all, saw some members today as well from my First ward, I miss them a ton! I love you and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

December 15th 2014

This week has been a great week, we had a member of the 70 named Elder Baxter come visit us on Wednesday. I honestly learned so much and he kept saying how much he truly loves us. I have been reading the Book of Mormon and I am about to finish it this week and I’m in Moroni 8, the last sentence of 16 and the first sentence of 17 talks about LOVE. LOVE is amazing and we have to just have so much love for others! Christmas is coming up and I cannot wait to see you all! Here is a picture of our ward missionaries at our CHRISTMAS PARTY. Love you and miss you all!

December 1st 2014

I can't believe that it's December already, time honestly flies by way too fast. They put Christmas lights up at the Temple and it looks amazing. We had a chance to go there with one of our investigators named Rosa. She's way cool, a Christian lady but that's all good because we are Christian too :) The mission is really good! I love it a ton, Santa Monica is tough but it is so much fun! I am learning a lot. If you haven't seen the "He is the Gift" video go and watch it. It’s amazing. That's what Christmas it's all about. We don't have a tree or anything in our apartment soooo.... we drew one up! It turned out good and it's pretty tall. Thanksgiving was great! Elder Fierro and I went to McDonald's and bought the Family pack. It was $15 dollars together but it was a really good lunch. We had dinner that day with the Familia Olivares, for dessert I ate some Chapulin (Grass hoppers) it was weird. Kind of good.  I don't know. It's an Oaxaca thing I guess.
That's pretty much all this week. Everything is good.
 Love you all!

We had Transfer calls again last night! I am leaving Wilmington. After just 1 transfer here. I am going up to Santa Monica now! I’m not going to lie; I am pretty excited about it. I hear it's really hard, but a good area. My new companion will be Elder Fierro, he is from Oaxaca, Mexico. He's only been here for 6 weeks. I met him about 3 weeks ago and he's way awesome and super nice. The mission is crazy! I love it though. I will miss this area for sure, every time I am on exchanges with some other elder in a different area, I tell people that I am serving in Wilmington and they automatically say "Whoa, be careful, it's way dangerous there" They say the Ghetto parts of L.A. are Wilmington, Compton, Watts yeah.... not really. Well at least no one messes with us. It’s actually kind of nice.  Compared to Huntington Park! But I am leaving now :( I met some AMAZING people here in such a short period of time. Got to love the mission. Everything else is good. Getting ready for Thanksgiving next week and then it will be Christmas! Time is going by way too fast. Other then that everything is good!

I love you all and thank you so much for all the support.
